July 22, 1939: HMY Victoria and Albert at arriving at Dartmouth Castle in Devon County, England with
HM King George VI, HM Queen Elizabeth and 13 year old HRH Princess Elizabeth embarked for a two day visit.
On this occasion, Princess Elizabeth met, for the first time, Cadet Prince Mountbatten RN, 8 years later they
were to marry and he is now, of course, Prince Philip.
