Apr. 7, 2014 I am writing from Harwich, Essex about the yacht Grayling featured in your photo gallery. An esteemed colleague believes this is the yacht skippered by his great grandfather in the late 19th / early 20th century. Can you confirm the vessel was based in Brightlingsea on the river Colne and returned from the Baltic at the start of World War I? With thanks and regards, Graeme Ewens |
