Armament changes
1943: 1"/60 (25mm) increased 6 per unit.
1943-1944: Number 2 turret removed and replaced with a triple 1"/60 (25mm) mount.
Six additional 1"/60 (25mm) guns were also added.

June 1944: Torpedo reloads removed and a variety of AA configurations were tried
including removal of #3 turret and the 1"/60 (25mm) mount in #2 turret position for
2 twin 4.7"/45 (120mm) mounts. (not all units)

In addition some units were modified to carry up to twenty eight 1"/60 (25mm) and
four .52"/76 (13mm).
