My father, Rex Duce, served on HMCS Kootenay 1943 to 1945 and I was surprised and delighted to see photos of the ship and crew on your website. My father was English, born in Bradford, and did his WWII service on HMCS Kootenay as a radio 'sparky'. The photograph on the Maritime Quest website of the crew of HMCS Kootenay in 1943 includes my father on the far left standing in front of Harry Hayhurst named in the photo.
