Scuttled Mar. 14, 1915 after being located by HMS Kent, HMS Glasgow and HMS Orama.
(The British destroyers shelled Dresden until a white flag was raised. Lt. Wilhelm Canaris
(later Admiral Wilhelm Canaris) was sent to negotiate a surrender with the British which
allowed the crew the time to scuttle the ship.)

Juan Fernandez Archipelago, Chile.
