July 1934: Königsberg and HMS Repulse seen from Leipzig at Portsmouth, England. The masts of HMS Victory are seen in the background. The German cruisers visited Portsmouth between July 11 and 15, this photo was probably taken on the 11th when the ships were arriving. This was the first time German warships had visited a British port on an official visit since the Great War.
