On Dec. 29, 1940 after sinking the Italian transport Sardegna the Greek submarine Proteus Y-3 was attacked
and sunk by Italian torpedo boat Antares. She was depth charged until she surfaced and then rammed. Sadly her commanding officer, Lt. Commander Hadjiconstantis, and his enire crew were lost with her.
