Aug. 11, 1934 the Italian submarine Ferraris was launched at Cantieri Tosi, Taranto, Italy. The boat was
sunk Oct. 25, 1941 by HMS Lamerton L-88 and an RAF Catalina PBY, most of the crew survived.
