Daily Event for June 6


June 6, 1940 the Italian submarine Ammiraglio Saint Bon was launched at CRDA, Monfalcone, Italy. The boat
was sunk less than two years later when the HMS Uphloder N-99 torpedoed her off Sicily. Only three of the
sixty men on board survived.
