I have been looking for someone that served on the USS Sides in Long Beach, California, his name is Travi Robert Grimes he was a chief petty officer and served in 1987 to 1989 possibly not exact on the year. I have been searching for him for 20 years if you have any information I would really appreciate it.

Nov. 3, 2009 MY SON WAS ON THE SIDES WHEN IT WAS COMMISSIONED. AWESOME. WE TOOK A LOT OF PICTURES…BUT I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS VIDEOS OR MOVIES THEY CONVERTED TO VHS OR DVD. IF SO., I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A COPY FOR A SURPRISE CHRISTMAS  GIFT. Marilyn McCrossen  (Mitch)

Hello to any and all old shipmates on Sides. I was MPA from fall of 82 till August of 84. Lots of good
memories, Westpac, crossing the line, etc. Retired in Georgia now so not sure about reunion possibilities
but if anything gets started, please keep me on the list.

Would like to say hi to anyone onboard the Sides from 1982-1986. Letting everyone know we would like to get together for some kind of reunion. I've personally seen RM2 Brux and HT1 Gray recently. Been in contact with IC3 Roy, RMSN Watson, RMC Wallace and EM3 Groce. Would love to hear from anyone.
