Assigned to the 5th Battle Squadron Channel Fleet.
Aug. 25, 1914:
Took part in transport of Portsmouth Marine battalion to Ostend, Belgium.
Oct.-Nov. 1914:
Attached to the Dover Patrol for attacks on the Belgian coast.
Feb. 18, 1915:
Attack on forts. Later took part in other bombardment s and support of landings.

Sunk.
