Vice Admiral Sir Cecil Ponsonby Talbot, K.C.B., K.B.E., D.S.O., R.N. seen at his home in June 1953 in full dress for the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.



HMS Victory seen at Portsmouth, England sometime around the turn of the century.



HMS Glory, in 1901 Talbot received his first assignment to this ship. He served in her on China Station during the Boxer Rebellion, even saving the life of a fellow sailor who had gone overboard from a picket boat on the Yangtze.

The blimp SST-2, Talbot trained in balloons beginning in 1908, but this photo dates from 1918 and was taken in East Fortune, Scotland.
