Note the report in column 4: "The Goering Mystery"
(Moscow insists that Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring is either under house arrest or institutionalized. Neither, of course, was true. Göring remained in his position as head of the Luftwaffe until the end of the war. He was convicted of war crimes at Nürnberg in 1946, sentenced to death by hanging, but he committed suicide on Oct. 15, 1946, one day before his appointment with the hangman's noose.)

[One of the tens of thousands, Sara N., who yesterday got the yellow Jewish star from one of the many issuing offices. No adornment for our city, yes, but a well-placed warning for many of our fellow countrymen.]
[For details in English see "German Jews Face Ruling" in the Nevada State Journal of Sept. 7, 1941.]
