Note the report in column 5: "Nazi Admiral's Suicide"
(The false report from yesterday of Admiral Hermann Boehm's death continues to be published. There was of course no way for the press to know the truth. The report refers to General Admiral Hermann Boehm, who was commander of German naval forces Norway from Apr. 1940 until Mar. 1943 and said to have committed suicide after visit from Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler. Boehm survived the war and died in 1972.)
Also note the report in column 5: "Hunt For Nazi Cruiser"
(The hunt was now futile, Prinz Eugen arrived at Brest, France on this day, having eluded the British ships despite the fact that they were having significant mechanical difficulties with the engines and boilers. This ship was the only German heavy to survive the war. It was transferred to the USA post war and ultimately used as a target in the atomic bomb tests in the Pacific (Operation Crossroads) The wreck is still visible today.)

Note the report in column 5: "Man was a woman"
(The report states that a woman masqueraded as a man for some 18 years. It's not clear if this is a case of gender dysphoria or if the woman was a transvestite or cross-dresser. It could also be a case of necessity, some women had claimed that the only way they could get a job was to disguise themselves as men. The reason in this case is not disclosed. Note that she is not called transgender, this is because that word had not been invented yet.)
