King George V inspects USS New York

This film was shot November 20, 1918 in the Firth of Forth near Rosyth, Scotland, it shows HM King George V and the Prince of Wales inspecting USS New York, the flagship of the American Battleship Squadron. Also seen in the film are Admiral Hugh Rodman, U.S.N., Admiral William S. Sims, U.S.N. and Admiral Sir David Beatty, R.N. The inspection of the fleet was made by the King the day before these ships sailed into the North Sea to accept the surrender of the High Seas Fleet.
