June 19, 1915: Launch of the USS Arizona at the New York Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn, New York.

Dec. 24, 1916: USS Arizona Battleship #39 in the East River, New York. Note the Christmas trees atop the cage masts. Anyone with a job office cleaning NYC in buildings near the river would have easily been able to catch a glimpse of the ship as it sailed along.
