May 22, 2002 A torpedo tube from the PT-109 was located by Dr. Robert Ballard. He surmises that the remainder of the wreck is located under this tube buried in the sand.

 

January 20, 1961 PT-796 was used in the Inauguration parade for President Kennedy. It is seen here passing the reviewing stand.
