March 22, 1986: Survivors from the USS Reuben James DD-245 attending the commissioning ceremony.
(USS Reuben James DD-245 was the first US warship lost in World War 2, sunk on Oct. 31, 1941 by the U-552, more than one month before Pearl Harbor. One hundred and fifteen of the crew were lost leaving only forty four survivors.)
