Commodore William Bainbridge is my first cousin, 7 times removed, so I have been told. My grandmother, Thelma Bainbridge, had the portrait [shown here] of him hanging in her house all my life and it was passed down to her from her mother and so on. My brother now has it in his house. I have been to Philly to see his grave site and his wife and son's. I have photos of that too. I like your website you have set up here.
