Sunk June 8, 1905 due to a loose rivet in the bow. Location: English Channel, Plymouth Sound, off Plymouth, England. 15 crewmen killed, 4 survivors picked up by the trawler Chanticleer. (Roll of Honour) The survivors were; Lt. Algernon H. C. Candy (CO), Sub-Lt. H. C. Murdoch, Petty Officcer 1st Class William Waller and Leading Stoker George Watt. |
