5. Oct. 1, 2011 I was the assistant can man on HMS Scarborough in 1967. I was working for NAAFI at the wrens depot, Plymouth and playing for a Plymouth rugby team and was asked if I would ‘volunteer' to go ship-side to make up the Navy 15 as scrum half. HMS Torquay and Tenby made up the other Frigates and I think HMS Hampshire led the Dartmouth Training Squadron. We were off to play Navy's of the world in Halifax, Canada. A great tournament which we won. We were all awarded trophies (sadly I have lost mine). If any one has any photos I would love to see them. I am now living in New Zealand. Have a good one.
