I'm trying to find out some information on my great uncle William Walter Bond. He was a Telegraphist on the HMS Trinidad. I have one photograph of him, and also the telegram which was sent to my fathers family to inform them of his death. He was killed on the 29th of March 1942. However, I recently read the book by Frank Pearce, The Ship That Torpedoed Itself, and he talks about Able Seaman Walter Bond being at  Murmansk? Is It possible that there were two Walter Bonds on board, or was he still alive when they reached Murmansk? Any information or ideas where to find out this kind of information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Beth Roberts
