I visited your excellent website today in search of images of my Great Grandfathers ship HMS Hibernia. I was excited to see the pictures you have of the ship at the time he was on board, 1908. My Great Grandfather was called William George West and he was a Leading Torpedoman at the time.

I am an ex-Royal Naval Petty Officer myself and have been tracing my family history. If you have any access to information pertaining to either HMS Hibernia around 1908 or HMS Donegal around 1904 then I would be very interested to hear from you. I am specifically trying to find out my Gt Grandfather's service number which seems to be lost in time. Thank you.
