In some family memorabilia I come come across a Christmas card for 1944 sent by one of the crew of the HMS Prince Baudouin. It is signed by a man who might have been Archie Sinnicks, one of the crew.  I am wondering if there is a society that I could sent it to to ensure a good home.

Yours faithfully,
Brian Greening

I am trying to research my father's WW2 history. Unfortunately he passed away 31 years ago and I am finding it to be quite a task. I did manage to get his records off the war department and also found some information from the War Diaries for his Unit related to his early service history.

In my searches I have learned that he was evacuated from St. Malo in 1940 as part of the BEF. I also found your excellent web site with pictures and information on Prince Baudouin. Tying these incidents together I believe that my father might have been evacuated on Prince Baudouin and I was wondering if you were aware of any
lists that might have been taken regarding the evacuees records which might enable me to piece the two main incidents together.

I know it's a very long shot but I have to keep on trying :) I would greatly appreciate any information that you might be able to provide.

Best regards,
Ady Barlow

P.S. further information I have gained of the evacuation of St. Malo is that my father's unit were possibly split into three parties due to space limitations on other ships. The other two ships that I know of are the S.S. "St. Briac" and the "Hull Trader".
