Note the report in column 6: "Truth About Attacked British Convoy"
(The attack was against convoy OG-71 and in total 10 ships were sunk, the total tonnage lost was just over 15,000 tons. The losses included eight merchantmen and two warships, a corvette [HMS Zinnia] and a destroyer [HNoMS Bath.] Bath [ex USS Hopewell DD-181] was the first Lend-Lease destroyer sunk in action.)

Note the report in column 5: "Goebbels Out of Favour"
(Another report from Radio Moscow, which was completely untrue. Goebbels may have been the most hardcore Nazi of all, he remained with Hitler until the very end. After Hitler's suicide in the Führer bunker, Goebbels and his wife, Magda, killed their six children and then themselves. I can only assume the flurry of reports about top Nazis being arrested, shot, disappearing from public view and the like, was an attempt to make it seem that the Nazi regime was falling apart and that the war might soon come to an end. Of course, the propagandist never realizes that the never-ending stream of lies does not persuade the public, but only discredits the state and the media, who are forced to print the lies or do it willingly, like the Aberdeen paper did.)

August 26, 1941: Front page of The Examiner, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.

Note the report in column 5: "Union Leaders Receive Death Threats"
(The report is somewhat confusing, but it seems that the union is attempting to distance itself from the communists, but the communists want to remain. A part of one letter, sent to a member reads as such; "This world is not safe for you. You cannot escape your doom, no matter what you do or where you go. You shall die when you least expect it." The communists mean what they say, they killed 100 million people in the last century and the killing continues to this day. The totalitarian left (in the U.S.A. it's the democrat party, the Fascist Nazis at antifa and the black lies matter crowd) have threatened to and have killed for their political goals. Don't doubt it when you are warned to fear the left, they are the most violent political group in the world.)
