(The Van Wert Times-Bulletin announced that they will only print news that pertaining to peace, quiet, contentment and cheer. The paper is showing below. They were not the only publication to ban war news, in column 4 there is another report stating that the Boston Traveler is banning bad news for the 16th year. The Berkshire Evening Eagle of Pittsfield, MA and the Woonsocket Call of Rhode Island have also continued the practice of banning news of crime, bloodshed and war from page 1.)
