Note the report in column 2: "Submarine Missing"

Note the report in column 6: "Invasion Plan Abandoned"
(NBC somehow "picked up" a message from Rome about the cancellation of the Invasion of England. This is astonishingly accurate because this was the German plan from the beginning. And yet, how many people did not believe it I wonder? The invasion story was now so polluted with propaganda, misinformation and just incorrect analysis, that when the truth comes out, nobody believes it. And nobody could blame them.)
