(This report was true, U-31 had been sunk, with all hands, on Mar. 11th by the RAF. This was the first U-boat sunk by aircraft alone. U-31 was raised and repaired, but sunk again on Nov. 2, 1940.

(Viborg falls to the Soviet Union.)
