March 26, 1927 Germany launched the cruiser Königsberg at the Reichsmarinewerft in Wilhelmshaven. During
the invasion of Norway in April 1940 she was one of many ships sunk by the RAF. She was raised, but never
again saw active service, the Königsberg was scrapped after the war.
