Aug. 28, 1943 south east of Corsica the British submarine Sickle P-224 torpedoed and sank the German transport SG-10. The former fruit transport Felix Henri was built in 1933, in 1940 she was converted into an armed merchant cruiser by France. On Dec. 14, 1942 she was captured by German forces while at Marseilles, France and converted into a fast transport for the Kriegsmarine commissioned on May 1, 1943. No casualty figures are available. |
