(Four crewmen Achille Moschini, Guglielom Bartolini, Marlo Azzori all and a soldier, Giorgio Carpi, were charged in 1918 with setting the explosives. Several Austrians and Germans were implicated in the plot having been paid to organize the destruction of the ship.) Location: Brindisi Harbor, Italy. 646 crewmen killed, 324 survivors.
