July 2, 2012: Presque Isle seen on Lake Huron from Mackinac Island, Michigan. This rather unique ship is a tug which fits into a barge. The tug was built at Halter Marine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1973, the barge was built in two sections, the bows in Bay City, Michigan, the remaining section in Erie, Pennsylvania.
