Note the report in columns 5-6: "Rumania Takes Drastic Steps Against Jews"
(King Carol signed a decree banning Jews from employment in the Civil Service, all public professions and service in the Army. The decree also levees a tax on Jews for not serving in the Army. It also forbids Jews from owning land, or industrial enterprises. It was not reported in this article, but it also banned any intermarriages between Jews and Rumanians, as well as annulling all marriages between Jews and Rumanians that occurred in the past. For all of you who are protesting oppression in America, you should read those words so that you know what real oppression is.

On Aug. 6, 2021 there was a report in the Wisconsin State Journal that the University of Wisconsin was removing a 70-ton oppressive boulder, that had been on the grounds for ninety-six years because... you guessed it, the rock represents racism. According to the article, the rock was referred to, "AT LEAST ONCE in a 1925 Wisconsin State Journal story," as a "niggerhead." They claim that this was "a commonly used expression in the 1920s to describe any large dark rock." (I have to admit, this is the first time I have ever heard that "commonly" used expression in my 60-years of life, but what do I know.) They also say in the report that "University historians have NOT FOUND ANY OTHER TIME THAT THE TERM WAS USED, but said the Ku Klux Klan was active on campus at that time." The Klan was active everywhere in the 1920's. Adding that line to the report has absolutely nothing to do with the rock or why it was there.

So, because some idiot at their own newspaper, used a derogatory term about a rock, one time, ninety-six years ago, it must go because it causes so much distress to the white students at the university. I say that, because even though the report claims that a black student union was the driving force behind this absurd action, the video they posted of the removal shows hundreds of white students, who apparently have nothing to study or do to further their academic endeavors. I watched it three times and could only see one person who might have been black, but I could not tell for sure.)

Also note the report in column 1: "12 Pigeons Join Home Guard"

Note the photo at top left. For younger readers of these pages, this is a photo of a German Schnellboot (fast boat.) The Germans called them S-Boats, the British called them E-Boats (enemy boats,) as showing in the next newspaper. They are sometimes referred to in the press as torpedo boats or motor torpedo boats. I point this out just for those who have never seen such a boat.

The attack was against convoy CW-9, in total five ships were sunk, 2 by aircraft; (Coquetdale & Empire Crusader,) 2 by S-boats; (Fife Coast & Holme Force,) and one (Ouse) sank after colliding with another ship while trying to avoid being torpedoed by the two S-boats, S-21 & S-27.)
