The remaining photos in this collection were taken between Dec. 10, 1945 and Dec. 18, 1945 while HMS Colossus was making a voyage for the Recovery of Allied Prisoners of War and Internees (RAPWI) from Batavia, Java to Colombo, Ceylon. The above photo was probably taken Dec. 10 at Tanjong Priok, Batavia (Jakarta), Java as internees were being embarked.

This photo was probably taken Dec. 18 while embarking internees at Kampung Serabang, Malaysia. HMS Colossus anchored off shore and an LCT (seen alongside) ferried people out to the ship.
