An Auster aircraft landing on HMS Argus.
(The Auster was from 652 Squadron RAF. It was 10 and 15th September 1943 when the trial started out of RAF Ayr. The pilots flew in batches of nine off her deck. There were two pilots on the major trial with four flights on and off Argus. The pilots were Major Coblay and Captain Fyfe. This was 14 October 1943.
