(This is a perfect example of disinformation. The Germans admitting that the cruiser Blücher was damaged was a lie. Blücher was still undergoing trials at that time and was in no way damaged. The Germans putting this into the British press would cause the Admiralty to make decisions on German naval strength based on false information. The two cruisers that were hit were Leipzig and Nürnberg.)
