Note the report at bottom center: "Wreckage Believed Nazi Invasion Machine"
(The "invasion machine" is described at a wooden raft with a 40' pontoon that had two air cylinders which were "capable of floating a number of men." There was also a small rubber raft of "unusual design" which washed up. Not much of a landing craft for an invasion of England.)
